Position Overview
Autodesk's Quality Engineering Services team under Digital Enterprise Services Team is seeking an experienced Principal QA Engineer(SDET) to join our team of excellent engineers who will increase the quality of our products and building a self-service Testing platform to improve engineering productivity. You will improve the development of end-to-end integration tests, automation frameworks, and an in-house testing platform to have robust automated testing pipelines. This is a hands-on role in which you will design and code comprehensive testing frameworks while taking on a technical leadership role, improving the productivity of our development/QE teams and bringing standardisation to our processes. Reporting to the Leader of Quality Engineering, you will collaborate with multiple engineering teams building products/services using multiple software stack and platform development teams to ensure that we are shipping the highest quality service possible at each weekly release. This is an awesome opportunity to work with modern cloud technology in a visible role. You will report from Bangalore location. The work place mode will be Hybrid

Responsibilities
- Design and maintain automation frameworks utilised by the team to automate critical user scenarios for regression testing
- Co-ordinate automation test planning and integration test activities with all the partners
- Partner with a Engineering team to investigate and troubleshoot/implement fixes for customer-facing issues
- Develop and document UI and integrated test automation and application framework enhancements in Java and JavaScript technologies
- Participate in code reviews, and design reviews, and provide recommendations for improvements in code quality
- Develop automation test scripts for web-based test case & API test cases.Provide Recommendations on best practices of Quality Assurance
- Contribute to technical leadership and strategic direction to continuously improve the Quality of Engineering Organization
Minimum Qualifications
- 8-12 years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in the Test
- Hands-on experience in designing and building automation frameworks from scratch
- Must have development experience in Java & Javascript.Experience developing test automation tools and frameworks
- Must have experience working with Javascript-based test framework like Cypress or Playwright and Selenium
- Experience with the various developer and CI/CD management tools e.g. IntelliJ, Eclipse, Jenkins, Git
- Experience with testing services on Cloud computing platforms like AWS.
- In-depth knowledge of standard quality best practices, techniques, and methodologies to drive quality improvements
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands on experience in Integration & E2E testing
- Experience in developing Java+selenium, Cypress or Playwright test framework for web based application
- Java developer experience gives added advantage
- Experience in using CI/CD Jenkins pipeline with Jenkins File Experience in automating REST API
