Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Portfolio Operations Manager to support and mature the operational aspects of our product and program management activities. You will possess exceptional organizational skills, a talent for written communication, and proven ability to facilitate productive working sessions and executive reviews. Core Responsibilities. You will report to the Chief of Staff. This position is a Hybrid/Remote role working with mostly teams across the US West Coast.

  • Develop and implement standardized, repeatable processes for portfolio management activities using standard tools to drive transparency and efficiency in our product and program investments and strategies
  • Monitor portfolio performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline communications, recommend improvements, identify opportunities and remove roadblocks
  • Support the Staff function to support the Product organization to improve day-to-day operations of senior leaders across teams
  • Prepare comprehensive written reports, presentations, and communications to stakeholders, including executive summaries, status update, and other high impact communications
  • Primary point of contact for inquiries related to operations, providing timely. and informative responses to stakeholders
  • Present at multiple forums and team meetings on a consistent basis
  • Plan, coordinate, and facilitate working sessions, reviews, and other broad meetings to drive change and results
  • Prepare meeting agendas, facilitate discussions, and capture key decisions and action items
  • Engage with managers, directors, senior directors, and VP's across organization to gather input, solicit feedback, and you will drive consensus
  • Identify opportunities to enhance portfolio management tools, and technologies to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify best practices, process improvements, and automation initiatives

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years proven experience working with software delivery, especially product and program teams, with a focus on team operations
  • Strong organizational skills with a meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to facilitate working sessions, meetings, and executive reviews, fostering collaboration and driving decision-making
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities, and adapt to changing business needs

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $94,400 and $162,800. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
