Position overview
We are looking for undergraduates and graduates with passion for mechanical engineering, structural engineering or similar who want to gain experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer and for a few weeks become a part of software development team. The internship will start in July 2024 and is planned for twelve weeks. During this time, we will make sure you are challenged and given every opportunity to grow your knowledge and experience with the support of experienced Autodesk employees. In the Krakow office we develop Generative Design for Fusion, a leading solution for quick generation of high-performing design alternatives, the so-called design exploration process. Designers or engineers input design goals into generative design software, with parameters such as performance, materials, manufacturing method or costs. The software explores all possible permutations of a solution and generates design alternatives

Responsibilities
- Engage in Scrum ceremonies for requirement gathering, test planning, execution, and progress reporting
- Develop and execute comprehensive software test plans, focusing on UI, functionality, performance, and workflow
- Uphold high-quality standards for the products you work on
- Support customers by addressing training issues and identifying and identifying defects.
- Work alongside experienced engineers, absorbing best practices in software development
Minimum Qualifications
- Background in Mechanical, Structural Engineering or similar
- Experience with FEA or CAD software
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Eagerness for new challenges and expanding knowledge
- Exceptional attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Skills in writing scripts or willingness to develop in this area
