Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated finance professional to join our team as a Financial Analyst. We support the finance and business leaders who drive long term strategy for Autodesk, which means you have a front row seat to how we drive growth as a company. As part of the finance team, you will report on business results, provide insights & analysis, drive continuous improvements, and serve as the financial guru for the team. The ideal candidate is driven, data savvy in business analytics, and exhibits the ability to work cross functionally.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-going finance support to strategy leads and Finance Business Partners. You will lead reporting, analysis, and tool building/maintenance to support the PDMS (Product Design and Manufacturing Solutions) strategy teams and their Finance Business Partners. You will work proactively to identify business drivers and analyze the business, utilizing data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. You will have the opportunity to develop and present analysis and recommendations based on insights to your business partners and other stakeholders at the company
- Continuous Process Improvement. Just because a process or system exists, doesn't mean it's the best way to meet the need. In this role, you'll learn the tools we have available, how we and our stakeholders leverage those tools, and help make recommendations for simplification and improvements. We want to build self-serve tools that drive insight and are easy to use, allowing us to focus on higher value work. We want to automate where possible so that we can spend less time on manual tasks and more time driving actionable insights
- Ad-hoc projects and analyses. Every role has its core responsibilities and the opportunity for more when you're ready. For example, you could support ad-hoc projects requiring cross-company collaboration to achieve the desired outcomes, you might join the FP&A employee engagement team, or you may build new models to forecast future performance of certain products

You can navigate through the company's systems and network of people to get the data and information you need. You know how to model and interpret large volumes of complex data to identify trends and insights
- You go beyond the numbers. While you are a highly analytical person, you also understand the business drivers and the why behind the numbers. Your work output will often involve distilling complex data into easy-to-understand summaries. You prioritize the business context so you can think big picture and sense-check the numbers you are seeing and presenting
- You adapt quickly to change and are comfortable with ambiguity. You understand that change is constant in technology; change is expected and welcomed.
