About the Role:

Autodesk's GTM Enablement organization provides Sales, Customer Success and Partners with the knowledge & skills to effectively engage customers across the lifecycle to accelerate revenue growth.

We are seeking a Director of Strategic Industries, Motions, and Methodologies to lead the evolution of our Go-to-Market enablement strategy. In this pivotal role, you will drive the integration of deep industry expertise, modern sales methodologies, and adaptive business models that reflect the changing needs of our customers. Your leadership will accelerate the performance of emerging business teams, shape customer-centric sales motions, and equip our global salesforce to deliver consistent, measurable value. Reporting to the Senior Director of GTM Enablement, you'll be part of a collaborative, high-impact team that values innovation, creativity, and enablement experiences that move the needle.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute a global, cross-functional GTM enablement strategy that aligns with business priorities, customer success goals, and evolving sales motions across diverse segments and industries.
  • Lead and inspire a team of teams - including industry enablement leaders, sales methodology experts, and program managers - to deliver high-impact initiatives that build seller confidence and drive customer value.
  • Foster a high-performing, globally distributed enablement organization rooted in innovation, inclusion, collaboration, and measurable outcomes.
  • Design and orchestrate scalable learning experiences that build deep industry and technical expertise, aligned with Autodesk's solution positioning and go-to-market strategies.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, IT, Marketing, Operations, and L&D to evaluate, implement, and continuously optimize enablement platforms and tools that accelerate performance and productivity.
  • Define and track KPIs and leading indicators that measure the effectiveness, adoption, and business impact of enablement across the global sales organization.

Your Qualifications

  • Proven ability to hire, lead, and scale multiple high-performing enablement teams, while fostering a unified vision and culture of continuous learning and innovation.
  • Deep program and portfolio management experience; able to oversee multiple complex, interdependent initiatives across teams and geographies.
  • Demonstrated expertise in building and integrating sales methodologies and enablement frameworks that drive adoption and impact.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise GTM strategy, complex solution selling, and business model transformation.
  • Proficiency in sales and enablement platforms such as Salesforce, Seismic, Gong, and learning management systems (LMS).
  • Strong analytical mindset with a track record of making data-informed decisions and extracting actionable insights from large, complex data sets.
  • Excellent executive communication, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Additional Qualifications

  • 10+ years in sales enablement, GTM strategy, or learning leadership roles within SaaS or enterprise technology.
  • 5+ years leading global enablement organizations, with success scaling teams and programs across multiple business segments and sales motions.
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Business, Education, Communications, Organizational Development, or related fields.

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $151,600 and $245,190. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
