Position Overview

Autodesk Korea is seeking a highly driven and strategic Mid-Market Sales Director to lead our Mid-Market business segment. This role is pivotal to Autodesk's transformation into a Design and Make Platform company, helping our customers across industries succeed through digital transformation. This position plays a key role in aligning all functions around customer success and sustainable growth.

The ideal candidate is a proven sales leader with a strong track record in managing high-performing B2B software or SaaS sales teams - ideally within the AEC (Architecture, Engineering & Construction) or Manufacturing sectors. You will be responsible for developing and executing growth strategies, delivering customer value, and accelerating the adoption of Autodesk's industry-leading solutions not only in the mid-market segment but also in broader go-to-market initiatives across Korea.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the activities of sales team, including hiring, coaching, developing talent, team culture and performance management
  • Responsible for leading team to focus on exceeding assigned quotas
  • Deliver timely and accurate forecasting and pipeline management
  • Generate incremental new business as well as maintains and maximizes existing revenue stream
  • Manage execution of strategic sales and marketing programs, including product launches, trade shows, channel development events, and customer forums. Will require collaboration with others not reporting to this job
  • Establish and sustain effective long term customer relationships
  • Assist reseller in developing sales and marketing plans related to Autodesk's industry solutions
  • Direct Sales Execs to effectively work with partners to generate business and ensure the consistent implementation of company initiatives
  • Provide insight to internal organizations on market direction, customer needs, product requirements and business opportunities
  • Collaborate with other internal organizations and coordinate internal resources as needed
  • Ensure CRM tools and Autodesk methodologies are leveraged to process and track opportunities
  • Align team with corporate goals and use SMART goals to deliver results
  • Encourage innovation by exchanging new ideas to improve operation and efficiency within sales and the supporting organizations

Minimum Requirements

  • 10+ years of strategic sales experience, consistently achieving or exceeding sales goals
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales management experience in the software industry
  • Strong understanding of the Korean market and technology trends
  • Proven success in collaborating with Marketing, Product, Business Strategy, and other key internal stakeholders to achieve sales objectives
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective relationship-building across various organizational levels and facilitating cross-functional solutions
  • Strong influencing skills and a track record of delivering results in a global and matrixed organization
  • Proven team leadership abilities, including a proactive approach to conflict resolution, creative problem-solving, mentoring, coaching, recognition, and performance management
  • Adaptability to evolving priorities and business initiatives
