Position Overview

In order to maintain and accelerate our growth trajectory, we need a senior program leader to drive Growth Programs for our go-to-market organization. This role must understand growth drivers across the business, from Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success, and lead those initiatives across teams, partnering with our program teams to ensure our initiatives deliver on growth expectations.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director to lead our future Growth Programs. This role is critical for Autodesk to achieve our growth expectations across all of our industries. You will partner with senior leaders across go-to-market functions at Autodesk to understand key strategies for growth and partner across technical delivery, change management, enablement, to deliver initiatives and ensure they deliver our growth targets. You will build a consistent framework across a 7K person organization for standards of growth programs and drive execution and impact across all go-to-market teams. A deep understanding of metrics will be critical as you work with business leaders both on intake and measurement in execution. We are seeking to scale the number of growth initiatives that we deliver, and consistency and best practices will be critical to our success. Reporting to the Head of Transformation & Programs, you will drive the execution of our customer focused growth programs, ensuring alignment on strategic goals, improving program management processes, ensuring initiatives deliver impact by partnering across change management and enablement teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of growth programs to achieve Autodesk business growth

• Understand key business drivers and customer segments to ensure focus on initiatives that can deliver significant growth for the business

• Lead and develop a global team of program managers, provide guidance, mentor, and upskill to successfully deliver growth initiatives

• Establish and maintain a portfolio of growth programs to report to the COO that demonstrates status and impact

• Develop program management standards, methodologies, and best practices for growth initiatives

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including: Business analysis, enablement, technical delivery, change management, and go-to-market teams to define clear program scope, objectives, and deliverables

• Oversee program portfolio management, including prioritization, resource allocation, and risk management, to improve outcomes and maximize return on investment

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program management processes, tools, and capabilities, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence

• Manage relationships with senior executives to ensure alignment and support for program objectives

Minimum Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in program management or go-to-market transformation, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a sales, marketing, customer success, or revenue ops environment.

• Proven track record of successfully managing a portfolio of complex go-to-market programs from initiation to completion across a wide range of product domains

• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve their full potential

• In-depth knowledge of program management methodologies, tools, and techniques

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the organization

The Ideal Candidate

• Deep experience in driving mission-critical strategic initiatives across organizations at scale

• Strong communication skills, written and presentation, to VP and C-Suite audiences

• Influence without authority across organizations and diverse partners

• Has led program management functions and managed managers

• Strong experience in go-to-market operations and agile delivery practices

• Quickly pivot to address urgent issues and maintain progress on several critical issues at the same time

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $164,000 and $265,320. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
