Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Collaboration Senior Systems Engineer to join our Collaboration Experience team. In this role, you will automate business processes, participate in the technical design of platforms, and manage ongoing feature changes for premium collaboration applications. Solid technical expertise and the ability to collaborate with multiple teams are essential.

As the Collaboration Senior Systems Engineer, you will oversee the administration and integration of our collaboration platforms at Autodesk. You will work with internal and external partners across various organizations, establishing strong relationships with users to ensure efficient, secure, and practical solutions that deliver engaging productivity experiences. This position reports to the Collaboration Experience Senior Manager and is remote.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and optimize collaboration systems, including preventative and corrective maintenance, capacity planning, and scalability
  • Record and manage changes, configurations, incidents, problems, and processes
  • Ensure system security, implement standards, and respond to failures or performance issues
  • Produce performance, capacity, availability, and security reports for senior management
  • Write technical documentation and collaborate on ongoing issues and projects
  • Install, configure, integrate, and test new system components and applications
  • Maintain automation scripts and enhance functionality
  • Follow industry best practices and quality assurance standards
  • Analyze systems and participate in design and engineering projects
  • Configure prototypes, deliver products, and manage solution implementation and vendor performance
  • Engage in team activities to support Service and Project Managers
  • Share on-call responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5-7+yrs technology support experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Administration and implementation of Collaboration Tools
  • 4+yrs experience building efficiency workflows to deliver desirable outcomes
  • Extensive experience implementing, administering, and integrating Design, Ideation, Workflow, Whiteboarding solutions, and messaging/social platforms
  • Extensive experience using to build, deploy, and interpret services using APIs, CSS, HTML, Python, Ruby, JavaScript, Bolt, Block Kit, JSON, AWS, developing plugins
  • Foster a collaborative and constructive atmosphere, exhibiting optimism in challenging situations
  • Decompose complex problems into manageable components, offering succinct solutions
  • Successful track record in working on multi-functional team projects

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $97,600 and $168,300. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
