As a Senior UX Writer, you will...
- Develop and implement comprehensive content strategies that support user needs and business goals across multiple channels and platforms
- Conduct unmoderated research, analyze data, and gather insights to inform content strategy, ensure content resonates with diverse listener groups, and identify opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, developers, and subject matter experts, to scale and align content strategies with overall product and business needs
- Create and maintain content style guides, standards, and best practices, ensuring consistency, scalability, and adherence to Audible's voice and tone guidelines
- Extend and adapt the Audible brand voice based on context
- Oversee content creation, curation, and governance processes, ensuring high-quality, timely, and relevant content delivery across all touchpoints
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in content strategy, user experience design, and digital marketing
- Mentor and provide guidance to peers within the Product and UX org, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the team

Basic Qualifications

- 5 + years of experience in UX writing, content design, digital marketing, or a related field, with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful content design development and execution
- Experience working in an Agile or iterative development environment

Preferred Qualifications

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely
- Deep understanding of user experience principles, information architecture, and content strategy best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Familiarity with user research methodologies and the ability to translate insights into actionable content strategies
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Passion for creating exceptional user experiences and a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and content strategy tools
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
- Understanding of the audiobook, entertainment or digital media industries
- Proficiency in languages other than English (based on Audible's global presence)
