Service Sales Specialist

Stone Ridge, NY

ATS Scientific Products is searching for a Service Sales Specialist to join our growing team!

As Service Sales Specialist, you'll work hybrid selling service contracts and collaborating closely with our Customer Care team members, Service Managers and Sales Representatives to support pro-active dialogue and customer contact.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contract Renewal management. Keep, cross-sell and up-sell contracts in current installed base under contract.
  • Negotiate contracts for End Of Warranty/Warranty extension equipment.
  • Realize additional revenue by generating contracts/service portfolio for customers with equipment not under contract.
  • Partner and build long-term relationships with external customers.
  • Manage external competitive pressures & discounts
  • Discuss and negotiate contracts/service portfolio, conditions and discounts with customers in line with defined pricing and discounting rules; dynamically with the value selling required to win deals.
  • High volume of customer contacts through phone and email each day (telesales), but visit key customers in case of significant quotation values / key accounts
  • Give accurate sales forecasting (weekly and even daily)
  • Utilize available CRM tools to research accounts and detect new business opportunities
  • Define and report KPIs to measure initiatives' success (renewal rates, etc.).
  • Partnerships with other company stakeholders to implement continuous improvement in sales process
  • Support strategic initiatives for Service Sales development
  • Work with Service Managers in countries - Liase for contracts/service portfolio negotiation.
  • Work with Customer Service and Delivery - Operations to identify and support the implementation of new outbound Service initiatives

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous Sales & quoting experience.
  • 5 + yrs Sales experience.
  • Excellent computer and communication skills on and off camera.
  • Be knowledgeable about the product, willingness to attend training courses and watch training product videos as available and requested.
  • Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion.
  • Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs.
  • Emphasize the features of products to highlight how they solve customer problems.
  • Answer questions about the products.
  • Negotiate prices and terms and prepare sales agreements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in many different sectors.
  • Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships. Technical & communication sales skills.
  • Proven experience in customer service communication and relationships.
  • Relevant product and Industry knowledge.
  • Experience with relevant software applications as applicable

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelors Degree or relevant experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Work is normally performed in both the office and the shop.
  • The office environment is an interior office with air conditioning.
  • The shop contains mobile equipment, machinery, and high voltages.
  • The shop noise level is variable and may require hearing protection in some areas.
  • The shop is heated when required but many areas are not air conditioned.
  • Some shop processes use high voltage arcs or concentrated magnetic fields.
  • The shop contains open flames and caustic chemicals.
  • Some areas of the shop may be designated as hard hat zones.

Salary Range: $63/K - $70/K
