This is a remote position. To help our teams work together effectively, you need to be based in the Netherlands or UK.

Our Talent Acquisition team consists of both Tech and Non-Tech experienced recruiters and sourcers, early careers & talent brand, CX & programs, and enablement, as well as executive recruiting. Our primary focus is on delivering consistent hiring results that align with the organization's headcount objectives.

We are currently in search of an accomplished Global Talent Acquisition leader to oversee our Business Recruiting Team Functions in Europe and India. This position reports to the Global Head of Business TA Teams. The successful candidate will be tasked with leading a team of recruiters and TA Leaders to effectively achieve hiring targets for our business functions in the UK, Poland, Netherlands, France, Germany, and India.

In this role, you will need to demonstrate experience and dedication towards nurturing a positive and productive team environment through career development and coaching. A proven track record of fostering collaborative and strategic partnerships with Senior Business stakeholders within the Business Functions (GTM, G&A, and Customer Support Services) including FP&A and HR COEs is essential. Furthermore, leveraging dashboards and reporting tools to inform TA Leadership about hiring progress or identify potential obstacles impacting our ability to meet hiring goals is also crucial for success.

What you'll do

  • Lead and develop a dynamic team of TA professionals, including recruiters and managers, to propel the business toward sustainable growth through predictive strategies
  • Establish team objectives in alignment with TA and People OKR's and policies and ensure direct team has clarity on how their work ladders up and contributes to overall priorities
  • Develop a comprehensive global view of the business organization driven by data while exerting influence within the company to be seen as a trusted advisor regarding relevant markets while managing regional/country specific topics
  • Proactively manages team capacity against hiring demands taking into consideration multiple factors including distribution of hiring mix, multi-country hiring complexity, business readiness, and market insights
  • Managing global stakeholders and guiding planning for EMEA and India leadership and headcount plans
  • Collaborate closely to contribute to key areas such as Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in our hiring practices, as well as building a distributed workforce for Sales, G&A, and Customer Support Services Functions
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, guidance, and influence across global and regional TA teams, ensuring growth and development of your teams all while solving challenging problems
  • Balance regional nuances in assessments and interview workflow processes with global best practices to ensure an equitable and consistent hiring bar
  • Embody care by demonstrating our values through your actions and communication with colleagues and candidates. Strive to leave everyone you engage with holding an elevated opinion of Atlassian and the TA organization.

Your background

  • Proven track record of leading Pan-European TA teams (IC's and Leaders) who successfully executed against a hiring plan, while nurturing high-level strategic alliances with key influencers such as senior business stakeholders, HRBP's, ER/LR, and peer Global TA Leaders.
  • Extensive Pan-European experience, with in-depth knowledge of sourcing technology, market trends, and talent strategy
  • Champions major initiatives by crafting compelling narratives rooted in substantial data and evidence, also recognizing the importance of proactively communicating the TA/Atlassian vision and effectively translating it to drive action.
  • Experience partnering closely and influencing senior leadership within the Sales, Marketing or Customer Support functions of an organization
  • High aptitude for coaching, mentoring and developing talent while holding teams to performance expectations
  • Experience leading TA teams in India preferred
