We are seeking a project manager to lead a project team to manage key projects for the Wilton Factory, starting with business continuity readiness. The Wilton Factory is the largest ASML development and factory site outside of the Netherlands.

As a Technical Project Manager at ASML, you will manage one or multiple projects and/or workstreams that are critical to our success in the semiconductor industry. Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders, departments, and sectors across the global organization, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and meet the required standards. You will play a vital role in driving innovation, efficiency, and risk reduction within our projects, contributing to the advancement of technology that impacts the world.

Role and responsibilities:

You will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of technical projects, ensuring alignment with business and organizational goals, with special focus on business continuity. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Develop and execute a business continuity plan for the Wilton Factory, ensuring alignment with organizational goals both global and local, and industry standards.
  • Managing the creation of project plans and workstream plans, ensuring all activities and milestones are identified and organized.
  • Defining project scope by translating requirements into deliverables and aligning changes with relevant stakeholders.
  • Planning and coordinating the identification and analysis of business needs, business risks, mitigations, and improvements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Developing and implementing stakeholder engagement plans to foster positive relationships and ensure effective communication.
  • Conducting risk assessments for the business and the project, business impact analyses, and creating recovery strategies.
  • Escalating help requests, and knowing when to escalate when project goals are impacted.
  • Overseeing the project review process and maintaining accurate project status for stakeholders.
  • Evaluating project deliverables and performance against initial goals, extracting lessons learned for future projects.
  • Perform regular testing and exercises of business continuity plans to validate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for business continuity-related inquiries and support during incident response
  • Attract, functionally lead, coach, appraise, develop cooperation, and ensure staffing.
Education and experience:

To excel in this role, you will need substantial general work experience with a strong background in project management within a technical industrial environment. Specifically, you should have:
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field with minimum five years experience working in a technical capacity in an engineering or manufacturing environment .
  • Advanced degree in Business Administration, Emergency Management, or related field, or relevant industrial experience preferred.
  • Solid experience in project management, with a focus on technical projects that have a strong link to business.
  • Proficiency in managing complex projects with multiple global stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Experience in business continuity plan development and execution, risk assessment, and crises management is a plus.
  • Certification in business continuity a plus (CBCP, MBCP).

Other information

The Manufacturing Development and Technology group is positioned within the ASML Wilton Manufacturing Sector and is responsible for strategic planning. As a member of the team you will be responsible for business continuity planning for the Wilton Factory, as well as other technical projects as needed.

The project manager will report to the Head of Manufacturing Technology.
