We are looking for a Software Engineer with a brilliant mind who loves building applications in a Linux environment and is not intimidated by multi-language and multi-platform solutions or a large existing code base.
Role and responsibilities
The Software Design Engineer is responsible for the following:
- Develop and maintain high-quality software applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new features.
- Write clean, efficient, scalable code.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Mathematics or similar field.
- Required 1-3 years of experience in:
- Software design and implementation using C/ C++ and Python.
- Defining software and integration tests to qualify the new software.

- Experience incorporating AI tools in the Software Development workflow.
- Knowledge of embedded and real time operating systems is a plus.
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD.

- Strong analytical ability with a pragmatic attitude, able to quickly understand existing code.
- Self-driven, pro-active, hands-on and get-it-done mentality based on technical arguments.
- Analytical, procedural, accurate and independent way of working.
The current base annual salary range for this role is currently:
$82,875-138,125
Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
The Company offers employees and their families, medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to participate in the Company's 401k plan. Employees will also receive eight (8) hours of vacation leave every month and (13) paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
