Process Development Engineer - Optical/Materials

Responsibilities

Perform process research and development for NPI projects, research projects, and critical/innovative improvements for existing processes and technology roadmap. Focus will be on materials development, process technology, and characterization. There is expectation of ability overlap with and extend expertise to other areas. Develop, deliver plans, and execute significant projects with guidance and collaboration with stakeholders. Create high level work breakdown, provide effort estimates and manage assigned projects, delegate/collaborate on tasks where help is needed, and ensure timely execution with quality of work mindset. Document complex technical development work in all phases. Adhere to ASML's EHS policies, procedures, and mandatory instructions; identify and mitigate safety risk and safeguard the environment and well-being of oneself and others.

Requirements

Advanced degree in material science, physics, or related field with >5 yrs experience in glass/ceramic materials, materials characterization, advanced fabrication processes. Ability to manage projects, working independently and in teams. Key qualities and skills include communication, scientific mindset, innovation, data driven, delivering results, documentation, and collaboration.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
