The Delivery team oversees replenishment (inbound), service and packaging logistics
This role of Returnable Packaging Pool Management sits in the Packaging Logistics team
Purpose of the Job
The purpose of this role will be to ensure that all returnable packaging goods within the ASML Wilton network can be physically moved and stored in a compliant, timely and cost-effective manner. Ultimately meeting our Stakeholders and suppliers needs and agreed upon SLA's. Establishing and managing day to day week to performance to KPI's.
You will manage and oversee the daily management of the pool of returnable packaging for Wilton Factory. This will include warehousing, storage, cleaning and repair activities undertaken by 3PL (third party logistics) service providers, managing the cost control of the operating budget and service levels to requirement.
Pool management extends globally from suppliers, through manufacturing to customer locations,
Role and responsibilities
- Management and oversight of ASML's service providers for returnable packaging to a master service level agreement, including service and cost metrics.
- Manage local 3PL relationships, supporting in negotiations for service contracts in close collaboration with global headquarters in Netherlands
- Work together with stakeholders, and suppliers to drive availability and visibility of pool size, measure performance, and reduce cost.
- Establish daily process which seamless support business workflow
- Manage escalation process ensuring business continuity relating to availability of returnable packaging materials
- Plan and manage the budget for the suppliers in the assigned responsibility
- Manage the supplier on performance through periodical business reviews (weekly / monthly)
- Ensure locations stay fit for purpose at all time by driving infrastructural changes: translate parts, tools and packaging handling and storage requirements into the logistics facilities needed.
- Define, drive and deliver optimization projects in this domain to drive cost down, material availability up and/or performance up.
Education and experience
- 5+ years' experience in managing global supply chain network, overseeing logistics and warehousing operations and managing 3PLs
- Experience in internal and external warehouse and transportation management working with logistics providers.
- Experience in cost control, budgeting and reporting
- Experience using SAP for inventory management and warehousing processes
- Experience with complex supply chains with strong engineering focus.
- Leadership experience & managing senior stakeholders
- Experience with Project Management & Process Standardization
- Experience working in matrix organization with regional and global responsibilities
- Background within the Semiconductor industry is preferred.
- University background: Bachelors Degree required.
