Head of Manufacturing Engineering - Cymer Factory

We are seeking a dynamic and results-drivenHead of Manufacturing Engineeringto lead our engineering department in driving manufacturing engineering excellence across CLS global factory network. You will continuously seek out, foster, and spearhead improvements to all aspects of your operational area. You will develop a strong partnership with other factories, supply chain and engineering to share best practices. You will engage in adoption and industrialization of new products and new processes through a strong partnership with Production and Development Engineers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Be the manufacturing process design lead and authority, and enable our goal to innovate the process with support of cross-sector where needed.
- Establish and document engineering controls for top risk areas in manufacturing.
- Drive yield and cycle-time improvements with measurable results.
- Eliminate waste and rework through floor-verified factory solutions and process breakthroughs.
- Lead the update and implementation of critical manufacturing procedures.
- Ensure factory-wide technical training and sign-off on all updated procedures.
- Maintain compliance and reduce operational risk through robust documentation of SPC and quality standards.
- Enable NPI using PGP, product transfers and manufacturing expansion projects with on time in full engineering deliverables.
- Define, execute and realize benefits of factory solutions portfolio with CLS program, D&E, S&SC and CLS factories.
- Redesign the manufacturing engineering organizational structure for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Define clear roles, responsibilities, KPIs, and onboarding playbooks, RACI with quality engineering per ASML standard L3-L5 processes.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Education and experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing or related Engineering field.
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with at least 7+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven success in leading factory expansions, systems transfers, and engineering transformations.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing KPIs, lean principles, and quality systems.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.
- Strong business and manufacturing operation acumen preferably in a high mix manufacturing environment.
- Strong LEAN manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experience - you can demonstrate a history of operational improvement through effective collaboration with your employees and across your partner organizations.
- Computer proficiency with MS Outlook 365 applications, knowledge of Oracle or comparable ERP systems.
- Familiar with ISO9001 and ISO14001. Direct working experience in an ISO certified environment is desirable.

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently:
$161,625-269,375
Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
