Job Description:
What you'll be doing:
- Data Analysis and Modeling:
- Analyze complex business requirements to design and implement efficient data models.
- Develop and optimize DAX and M queries for advanced data manipulation.
- Power BI Development:
- Design and create visually compelling and interactive reports and dashboards.
- Customize and extend Power BI functionality through advanced scripting (Python, PowerShell, etc.).
- Implement complex calculations and business logic within Power BI.
- Power Platform Integration:
- Leverage Power Platform components (Power Apps, Power Automate) to create integrated solutions.
- Embed Power BI reports into Power Apps and vice versa for a unified user experience.
- Automate workflows and processes using Power Automate.
- Scripting and Automation:

- Develop scripts to automate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Implement scripting solutions to enhance Power BI functionality and automate routine tasks.
- Collaborate with data engineers to optimize data pipelines using scripting languages.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand data sources.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to integrate advanced analytics into Power BI.
- Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI, Power Platform, and scripting solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to reports, dashboards, and data processes.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies related to Power BI and scripting.
- Continuously optimize and enhance existing reports and scripts based on user feedback and evolving business needs.
What we need:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Power BI Developer with a strong understanding of data visualization principles.
- Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or others.
- Proficiency in DAX and M queries.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with various data sources.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Preferred Skills:
- Certifications in Power BI, Power Platform, Databricks, and Snowflake.
- Experience with advanced analytics and machine learning integration in Power BI.
- Knowledge of Azure services related to Power BI and scripting.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Azure.
- Familiarity with version control systems for managing scripts.
