About the Opportunity

Performs operations and functions to produce, repair, test, and provide insight into all types of dental removable devices. Works closely with manufacturing operators, support functions, and clients including dentists and dental laboratory technicians.

In this role, the successful candidate will:
  • Fluent in Digital Dentistry pertaining to manufacturing of Removable prosthetics.
  • Responsible for meeting daily customer demand and production schedules while maintaining the highest quality standards at all times.
  • Strong Clinical understanding of Removable Partial Dentures (RPDs) and other Dental Removable prosthetics to inspect and uphold quality standards.
  • Experience in Additive (3D printing) and Subtractive (CNC milling) manufacturing to provide input in safety, quality, and delivery of removable products.
  • Understands full workflow on Denture production including Try-in, Lining/Wash and final production.
  • Follows the company protocol on receipt and inspection of cases.
  • Works within a standardized workflow, ensuring service and prompt case delivery.
  • Follows quality standard product design and manufacturing protocols, and identifies and troubleshoots exceptions as they arise.
  • Works with supervisor to ensure customer demand and the production schedules are met.
  • Inspects equipment and materials to identify any errors, problems, or defects and identify the root cause.
  • Records test procedures and results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations for changes in product or test methods.
  • Reviews project instructions and specifications to identify, modify and plan requirements fabrication, assembly and testing.
  • Provides detailed instructions, drawings, or specifications to inform others about how devices, parts, equipment, or structures are to be fabricated, constructed, assembled, modified, maintained, or used.
  • Stays up-to-date with technology changes and industry knowledge.
  • Provides feedback and gives advice to management and team on technical, systems and processes.
  • Interrupts and adheres to all company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What does it take to be successful?
  • Bachelor's Degree desired (or other degree), or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 10-years of Dental Removable Manufacturing experience required.
  • 5-years' experience in a Dental Lab environment required.
  • 1 + year of experience in use of digital technologies and devices.
  • Certified Dental Technician (CDT) strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and quality focused.
  • Strong Microsoft Office software skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to incorporate feedback from multiple sources into visual designs.
  • Ability to adhere to all company policies.
  • Ability to travel occasionally.
  • Ability to learn technical concepts by reading work instructions and standard operating procedures, and completing on-the-job training.
  • Knowledge of cGMP regulations ISO 13485, 21CFR Part 820, CMDR SOR/98-282, 93/42/EEC, RDC 16 2013, MHLW MO 169 and TG(MD)R Sch3 preferred.
