Job Description
The Senior Financial Analyst will provide finance support for the US Food & Facilities Sector FP&A team. Such support includes forecasting and budget analysis, monthly financial and cash flow projections and operating results analysis, month end close procedures, spend analytics, summarizing and communicating results to various groups across the business.
Position Reports to Finance Director - Sector FP&A
Job Responsibilities
- Perform Finance functions including month-end close, operating expense analysis, and monthly financial reporting
- Prepare and validate monthly and quarterly financial and cash flow projections
- Provide analytical support and analysis to the Director of Finance, and senior management
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process
- Create financial summaries for senior leadership to review the Annual Operating Plan
- Assist in preparation of Monthly Operating Review & Board Presentations for Leadership
- Analyze operational results relative to projections across P&L to determine drivers of and impact on business
- Analyze and compare monthly and quarterly financial results and key performance indicators against plan and other internal/external benchmarks, including new and lost business reporting
- Build/establish relationships with key business, financial, and operational personnel to ensure full understanding
- Reconcile Capital Spend by line of business, analyze and report monthly spend & forecast
- Complete Balance Sheet & Cash Flow consolidation & review
- Review monthly standard reporting and recognize opportunity to drive improvements to existing reporting and processes
- Responsible for conducting and compiling moderate to complex financial analysis projects
- Support the annual bonus process including accrual analysis, process & calendar, financial modeling and detailed review
- Performs other related tasks, projects and ad hoc analyses as assigned

Work Environment. This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
Physical Demands. This is largely a sedentary role with some light lifting of files possibly needed.
Qualifications/Role Requirements
• Strong technical financial and analytical skills
• Proficiency in spreadsheet and modeling applications
• Excellent organizational skills, effectiveness in prioritizing work, ability to multitask, and comfort with ambiguity
• Demonstrate ability to interact with senior-level management and to work independently
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Planning Analytics, PFS, Oracle Discoverer a plus

Years of Relevant Experience. 5-7 years of work experience in financial planning, financial analysis, business performance analytics or similar role
Education Requirements. BS/BA in relevant field required - with high scholastic achievement. Major: Accounting or Finance
