Job Description
The Regional Finance Director will partner with Finance and Operation leadership to guide and supervise the strategic financial direction for the West region. Primarily responsible for overseeing and delivering on operational finance goals, building annual budgets, monthly and quarterly projections, supporting new business growth and retention efforts, and historical analysis of operation results and internal benchmarks and metrics.
Job Responsibilities
- Partner with operations, growth and functional leadership to deliver on financial commitments
- Coordinates and prepares the annual plan, which includes setting client-specific targets and meeting with regional and department leads to establish goals and targets
- Analyzes and compares weekly, monthly and quarterly financial results, metrics and key performance indicators against plan and other internal benchmarks, including food, labor, working capital and cash flow analysis
- Prepares and present monthly and quarterly financial projections and operational results
- Build pro forma and financial modeling for new business and retention opportunities
- Directs the preparation of special purpose or ad hoc analysis as the need arises
- Client facing meetings and presentations to support financial needs for the region
- Site visits to assess operational performance and underperforming accounts
- Effectively manage and develop a Regional Finance Manager / Regional Controller

Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressively responsible finance and accounting experience is required
- Operational finance experience a plus ? demonstrated success delivering successful financial performance
- Prior experience leading and developing a staff
- Requires a bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience in accounting/finance
- CPA or MBA strongly preferred
- Requires excellent interpersonal and communications skills, sound judgment and ability to learn quickly while working in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Ability to effectively use deliberate influence strategies to impact, shape, or re-direct the behaviors of others, without formal authority
- Proven excellence in written and verbal communication skills
