The over 70 miles of rugged and beautiful pacific coastline, the wild, magical forests, the glacier-capped mountains and the calm lakes, make for an almost impossibly diverse and wide range of natural beauty.?

On the north end lies Log Cabin Resort, a rustic retreat for seekers of incredible views, fun beach days, and the immersion in the natural world. These cabins hark back to the days of summer camp, with lakeside cabins nestled in old growth cedars and firs. A variety of accommodations are available.?

A recreation worker rents out equipment such as paddle boards and kayaks, provides safety talks to guests, and occasionally participates in rescue calls. They are responsible for a positive guest interaction.

COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position is $16.28. This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.?

If hired, employee will be in an ?at-will position? and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Job Responsibilities

Essential Functions:
? Maintains all recreation equipment in line with company procedures or policies
? Assist guests with selecting the type, size, and use of the various equipment for proper fit
? Responsible for becoming familiar with all types of equipment used

  • Gives safety briefs to guests renting equipment

? Effectively communicate with guests to ensure all guests receive prompt and courteous service
? Perform an inspection of all inventoried rental equipment on a daily basis
? Inspect all equipment involved in an accident per Aramark procedures
? Repairing damaged equipment that fail inspection or require maintenance
? Use proper tools to replace any equipment or accessories that need it, such as handlebars, stands, seats, broken parts, and the repair of tire holes in tubes, etc.

  • May participate in cold water rescues as needed

? Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

? Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
? Must be flexible and willing to work a varied schedule

  • Previous boating experience preferred

? Requires occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
? Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
