Job Description

A Business Analyst within the Process, Communication, and Training team, will interface directly with End Users, System Admin, HRIT, Payroll Tax and Payroll Management to help analyze and improve processes related to all Payroll functions. Research solutions to support Aramark?s Payroll functions. Execute project tasks. Relies on experience to accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complex tasks. May require non-standard work hours. Reports to Director of Payroll Operations and Payment Services.

Job Responsibilities

Execute various project and payroll tasks
• Assist with system documentation testing and training to Payroll Operations
• Work in partnership with System Admin Group on System configuration, testing and analysis

• Provide escalation support for payroll applications
• Consults with users to develop reports and queries to meet business needs
• Works with various external consulting groups to achieve project tasks
• Executes queries to conduct analysis of payroll data
• Provides administrative support for Application Lifecycle Management (Quality Center) as related to test execution for the Ultimate Project
• Support projects in Payroll, Human Resources and Benefits to ensure complete and seamless integration of payroll and processes
• Work closely with End Users, GBS Payroll, Enterprise Systems Development, HRIT, Payroll Tax and Payroll Management resources to effectively implement business driven system solutions
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with peers and management using exceptional interpersonal skills
• Develop KPI?s for Payroll Operations
• Develop reconciliation procedures for tax, cash banking, escheatment, pay cards, and others as required
Analysis
• Provide data and analysis for management reports through the use of Excel, Cognos, VB and Access databases
• Provide analysis and documentation for post mortem activities on all major system initiatives.
• Document business requirements
• Act as a liaison to the systems admin team, Payroll Operations, Payroll Support, and Payroll Tax
• Conduct needs analysis for proposed solutions
Project Management
• Support projects in Payroll Operations, Payroll Tax, and Payroll Support to ensure complete and seamless integration of payroll and HRMS systems and processes
• Coordinate project plans and execute project activities
• Work closely with IT, HRIT and Payroll Tax resources to effectively implement business driven system solutions
• Report and communicate project risks, progress and status to management
• Individual will be expected to progressively handle more responsibility with project coordination, management and projects of larger scope over time
Quality Assurance
• Assist in managing testing of software upgrades, enhancements and bug fixes to payroll and its supporting systems
• Create and execute test plans
• Adhere to Corporate system standards, processes and procedures
Communication / Documentation
• Act as a business analyst/liaison for Payment Services with ESD, Payroll Tax, HRIT, Fleet, Risk, etc.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with peers and management using exceptional interpersonal skills

Qualifications

Required:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent of 4+years of experience in Payroll Processing
• CPP Certification highly desirable
• Extensive experience in UltiPro, ADP Tax, and BI reporting
Other Qualifications:

• Experience using query and database tools
• Must have strong communication, analytical skills and a customer service orientation
• Relies on experience and judgment to accomplish goals
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively regarding assigned tasks
• Ability to coordinate project plans and execute on project activities.
• May require non-standard work hours
