Financial Systems Manager

Job Description

The Financial Systems Manager will support the design, development, and implementation of Financial systems and tools used by the US Food and Facilities Sector, reporting to the VP Finance. Today this primarily includes management of the Hyperion Planning and Forecasting System (PFS). The manager will interact regularly with line of business leadership, technology, department heads, FP&A and regional finance teams, and field users. They will coordinate and partner with IT and external consulting resources daily

Job Responsibilities

Train & deploy the Planning and Forecast System for US Food and Facility Business Units

• Liaise with RFDs and other region personnel to monitor and analyze business performance while providing system support

• Identify and promote the sharing of best practices across the sector, lines of business and regions

• Identify and enhance reporting needs to provide better visibility into financial performance

• Lead the design, build, improvements and maintenance of the existing systems while partnering with line of business leadership

• Partner with department leads from other field systems to align on best practices and enhancements to improve end user experience

• Prepare & present demonstrations of application and financial reports to various levels within the organization, including senior management

• Lead data validation and testing efforts to ensure accuracy in financials and metrics

• Manage the preparation of special purpose or ad hoc analysis as required

Qualifications

6+ years of progressively responsible finance and accounting experience is required

• Prior experience working with field systems required. Regional Finance or Controller experience preferred

• Position requires excellent interpersonal and communications skills, sound judgment and ability to learn quickly while working in a fast-paced dynamic environment

• The ability to effectively use deliberate influence strategies to impact, shape, or re-direct the behaviors of others, without formal authority

• Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills

• Experience using SmartView preferred
