Financial Analyst

Job Description
The Financial Analyst will report directly to the Director of Finance and work with other functional groups within Facility Services. This position will provide value through analysis presented to the key business stakeholders to support their decision making. This role includes performing many key duties including month-end close support and overhead variance reviews, monthly financial reporting and presentations, forecast support and reporting, active participation in annual operating plan, support in the monthly cash flow forecast, and other ad hoc requests used for analysis.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the month-end close process by reviewing and identifying variances to forecast and plan and supporting the region finance teams during the process
- Collaborate with the overhead functional leads for monthly forecast and variance analysis
- Support the plan process by assisting in the development of the annual operating plan
- Compile the monthly region operating reviews and support with other executive management reports
- Prepare reports summarizing monthly, quarterly, and year-to-date results, including metrics and key performance indicators against plan, prior year, and other benchmarks
- Collaborate with region finance teams to ensure an efficient month-end, forecast, and plan process in order to help drive financial results.
- Perform ad hoc analyses as required

Qualifications
- This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Statistics.
- 2-4 years of experience with increasing responsibility required
- Advanced analytical ability and advanced proficiency in Excel spreadsheet modeling skills are required. SmartView and Hyperion skills a plus
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to interface with senior management
- Ability to assess trends and identify opportunities for improvement
- Self-starting personality, ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Great work ethic and aptitude for problem solving and ability to adapt to new situations.
- Detail oriented, strong organization skills, and ability to learn quickly.
- Driven individual with positive attitude and interest in further career growth in the Finance field
