Job Description

Developed and built by Notes Live, the Ford Amphitheater is an 8,000-capacity, state-of-the-art venue right in the heart of the Polaris Pointe development in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Aramark supports our clients by providing a high level of attention to detail and outstanding customer service in all that we do.

The Lead Bartender is responsible for conducting opening and ending inventory counts for each event, placing product orders and documenting product transfers during events, and overseeing closing duties.

COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $16.95 to $17.70. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Compensation Data

The tipped hourly rate of pay for this position ranges from $16.95 to $17.70. This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the rate of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

If hired, employee will be in an ?at-will position? and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Job Responsibilities

  • Accurately operate a register/ Point of sale (POS) and handle cash and credit card transactions
  • Mixes and serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs
  • Count, organize and balance a cash drawer, fill out cashier slip and make deposits (as required)
  • Adheres to Aramark?s cash handling policies and procedures
  • Understand and be knowledgeable of the merchandise for sale to assist customers and accurately process transactions
  • Responsible for setting up, maintaining and tearing-down a concession stand ? places inventory orders as needed during event and in preparation of next event
  • Accurately accounts for inventory at the beginning and end of each event
  • Places orders and documents product transfers during events
  • Complete opening and closing procedures as assigned based on operating hours
  • Always maintain a clean and sanitary work environment during service and at the end of shift
  • Ensure product at assigned location is stocked to appropriate levels throughout service and replenish items as need
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures
  • Adheres to all alcohol service policies and safe drinking guidelines including the checking of patron?s valid identification to ensure minimum age requirements
  • Maintains excellent, friendly, and efficient customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, and co-workers
  • Ensures security of company assets
  • Accepts constructive feedback and provides ideas, concerns to and from leadership

This role reports directly to Concessions Supervisor and Manager and/or Director of Concessions with oversight by Alcohol Compliance Supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Previous bartender experience (Preferred)
  • Previous cash handling experience (Preferred)
  • TEAM/ TIPS Certification (Required) ? will be trained and certified upon hire (as needed)
  • ServSafe or Food Safety Certification equivalent (Required) ? will be trained and certified upon hire (as needed)
  • Basic math and counting skills (Required)
  • Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling of up to 25lbs.
  • Exhibit and practice the highest level of guest satisfaction skills
  • Willingness to accept change and new procedures
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, meet production/service time schedules, and adapt to necessary and unforeseen changes
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision

This role will have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of PPE.
