Job Description

Aramark is seeking an experienced and passionate Hourly Culinary Banquet Supervisor to join our culinary team at NRG Park. This role is responsible for overseeing and executing high-volume banquet production for a variety of large-scale events, including galas, corporate functions, sports events, concerts, and private parties. The ideal candidate will bring 5?10 years of culinary experience in a hotel, catering, or high-volume event setting, with a strong focus on quality, presentation, and operational efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

? Lead the preparation, cooking, and presentation of banquet menu items for events ranging from 100 to 5,000+ guests.
? Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with Aramark standards, recipes, and health and safety regulations.

? Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness, food storage, and sanitation protocols.
? Collaborate with Executive Chefs and Sous Chefs on menu planning, portion control, and event execution.
? Supervise and mentor culinary team members including line cooks and prep staff during event production.
? Manage setup, breakdown, and timely service of food stations and buffet lines.
? Support inventory, ordering, and proper rotation of perishable goods.
? Maintain a high level of professionalism and culinary excellence under pressure.

Qualifications

? 5?10 years of experience in a banquet, hotel, catering, or high-volume culinary environment required.
? Strong knowledge of banquet production, large-scale event cooking, and food safety practices.
? Culinary degree or certification preferred but not required.
? ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain.
? Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
? Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
? Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as event schedules demand.
