YOUR ROLE
As a Training Supervisor on our teams. Responsible to Human Resources Management for identifying needs, designing and delivering training; standardizing, maintaining, and improving the orientation process and continuing education programs; designing and implementing organizational consulting processes; ensuring compliance with government regulations, Aptiv's internal policies and procedures; and general administration of the Training area.

In your daily job you will:
- Lead the recruitment process for the software engineering team, including identifying staffing needs, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions to attract top talent and build a diverse and high-performing team.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new team members, ensuring they receive the necessary training, resources, and support to integrate smoothly into the team and contribute effectively to project deliverables
- Allocate resources effectively across projects and initiatives, balancing workload and priorities to optimize team productivity, utilization, and project delivery timelines.
- Monitor project progress and resource availability, identifying potential bottlenecks or resource constraints and implementing proactive measures to address issues and maintain project momentum.
- Define performance goals and expectations for team members, providing regular feedback, coaching, and guidance to support their professional development and career growth.
- Implement initiatives to recognize and reward team members for their contributions, achievements, and milestones, fostering a culture of appreciation, motivation, and engagement within the team
- Provide strategic Business Partner support on Learning & Skills Capability domain to senior stakeholders (coming from both Business & HR)
- Partner with wider HR team, be attentive to feedback, suggestions and L&D needs in order to maximize the benefits of a robust L&D offering to all employees.
- Design & implement global Learning Programs by curating relevant portfolio for all the business functions. Critically assess the uptake of the programs and work with SMEs (both internally within the team and externally) on improving them on an ongoing basis.
- Leverage tools & models available (i.e. Job Architecture framework, Coursera & LinkedIn Skills Reports, training uptake reports) to recommend relevant & strategic training interventions.
- Drive savings by a thorough & ongoing analysis of training activities across the globe, finding optimizations by leveraging global suppliers where relevant, &/or streamlining training through the digital portfolio.
- Be the trusted source of guidance and information on Learning offering for the HR & L&D community around the globe.
- Provide instructional design recommendations & work for internal trainers conducting Aptiv-wide activities.
- Lead wider projects together with HR, L&D & Business teams to maximize the benefits of a robust L&D offering to all employees.
- Proactively identify improvement areas in existing processes and drive across-Aptiv process optimization, bravely challenge the status quo by making suggestions for change.
- Make the best use of the Learning Management System, driving its adoption across the globe by highlighting its business benefits through ongoing training KPI monitoring and presenting to relevant stakeholders.
- Work on supplementing the digital portfolio of trainings with regional/local/departmental training interventions.
- Cooperate with Procurement & Finance teams to ensure we maximize the value of the contracts signed and ensure robust budget management.
- Conduct trainings & workshops to senior stakeholders.
- Influence & execute the strategy of Learning & Skills Capability at Aptiv
- Influence & execute standardization of processes
YOUR BACKGROUND
Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:
- Bacherlors degree in Human Resources, Administration or related
- English level intermediate
- Experience 3 years in Training positions
- Knowledge of the STPS (CIRCE)
- Knowledge in Audit (IATF 16949, ISO 14001)
