Your Role: Test Software Development Engineer

  • Develop reusable test software building blocks for use in production automated test equipment applications. These software building blocks will be re-used by our global Manufacturing Test teams to build their specific customer production test applications. Examples of software building block use-cases include:
  • Product serial communications (CAN, Ethernet, etc)
  • Cybersecurity key & certificate provisioning
  • Test Instrument control and measurement
  • Flash programming of memory devices and SOCs
  • Management of product models and variants
  • Interfacing to external networks and systems
  • Technical Writing
  • Provide technical support to test application developers and production support engineers
  • Develop and administer training modules for our global test application developers
  • Research and benchmark new Test software suppliers and 3rd party tool providers
  • Leverage structured problem solving methodologies to drive continuous improvement

YOUR BACKGROUND:

  • Minimum bachelor degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer/Software Engineering
  • Experience with Automated Test development
  • Strong software development skills in C/C++ and variants
  • Preferred: Experience with NI software development toolchain including TestStand Test Executive, LabWindows/CVI, and LabView
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in a diverse, global team environment
  • Energetic, self-motivated, proactive, and customer focused working style
  • Business fluent English
  • Preferred: 2-4 years of experience in Automated Test or Flash programming application development
  • Preferred: Experience with Six Sigma and statistical methodologies
  • Preferred: Experience and/or certification in product Cybersecurity technologies and methodologies.

  • 2-6 years of Experience
