Your Role: Test Software Development Engineer
- Develop reusable test software building blocks for use in production automated test equipment applications. These software building blocks will be re-used by our global Manufacturing Test teams to build their specific customer production test applications. Examples of software building block use-cases include:
- Product serial communications (CAN, Ethernet, etc)
- Cybersecurity key & certificate provisioning
- Test Instrument control and measurement
- Flash programming of memory devices and SOCs
- Management of product models and variants
- Interfacing to external networks and systems
- Technical Writing
- Provide technical support to test application developers and production support engineers
- Develop and administer training modules for our global test application developers
- Research and benchmark new Test software suppliers and 3rd party tool providers
- Leverage structured problem solving methodologies to drive continuous improvement

YOUR BACKGROUND:
- Minimum bachelor degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer/Software Engineering
- Experience with Automated Test development
- Strong software development skills in C/C++ and variants
- Preferred: Experience with NI software development toolchain including TestStand Test Executive, LabWindows/CVI, and LabView
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work in a diverse, global team environment
- Energetic, self-motivated, proactive, and customer focused working style
- Business fluent English
- Preferred: 2-4 years of experience in Automated Test or Flash programming application development
- Preferred: Experience with Six Sigma and statistical methodologies
- Preferred: Experience and/or certification in product Cybersecurity technologies and methodologies.
