Technical Manager - Radar (m/w/d)

YOUR ROLE

• Lead Interface for Global Product as technical expert with Regional Eng., and as required with end customer
• Participate in and provide inputs from outside Product Organization to help define prioritization during Big Room Planning and other Product Development Planning events
• Lead technical feasibility study for new products, working with engineering teams
• Lead technical analysis of product change requests, deliver technical change estimation (effort/timing/cost) and support Product Manager decision on PCE implementation within platform.
• Lead technical interface to Aptiv internal and external customers
• Support Regional Engineering Team Business pursuits; Analyze Radar compatibility with proposed vehicle system architectures.

• Participate and contribute to product strategy and vehicle architecture meetings with other product lines within Global Product
• Support Lead, Technical Program Manager in escalating to Aptiv internal and external suppliers
• Support Lead, Technical Program Manager is preparing and presenting in weekly "One Pager" Management Reviews.
• Support Lead, Technical Program Manager in establishing product BOM and Engineering Development costs as input to business cases developed by Product Management.
• Support technically the Lead, Technical Program Manager and the Technical Sales Specialist during the Regional Engineering Director Reviews [RED] for Business Pursuits
• Support technically the Lead, Technical Program Manager and the Technical Sales Specialist during the Regional Engineering Director Reviews [RED] for Pre-RFI and Pre-RFQ activities
• Support technically the Lead, Technical Program Manager and the Technical Sales Specialist during the Product Management Reviews for New Product Development
• Support Product Management to ensure manufacturing alignment with New Product Development
• Support customer problem troubleshooting and drive corrective action for issues within platform.
• Support Lead, Technical Program Manager for the coordination and product solution hand-over to customer at milestones.
• Develop and maintain Radar Variant Table including Business Pursuits
• Develop and maintain Radar HW and SW Configuration Matrix.

YOUR BACKGROUND

Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in systems engineering, solution architecture, or similar technical roles.
Technical Skills
• Proficiency in industry-standard tools and platforms, including:
o MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
o Jira and Agile methodologies
o Polarian for requirements management
Communication & Collaboration
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven experience working with internal stakeholders and external customers, including cross-functional teams and international partners.
Language Skills
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• German or Polish language skills are a plus.
