Job Summary:

The Autonomous Driving Feature Development Engineer will work in a team environment to develop next-generation products for automotive ADAS, active safety, and AD vehicle systems. This will include design, development, and testing of feature/function algorithms, behaviour, trajectory planning, assessment & vehicle control algorithms.

Your Role:

• Develop, code, and maintain ADAS, active safety, and automated vehicle behaviour, planning, behaviour, assessment and vehicle control algorithms
• Develop technical specifications and DFMEAs
• Conduct detailed performance analysis
• Work with colleagues and customers to develop and implement enhancements to address real-world performance issues
• Complete assigned individual and team tasks
• Support improving code quality overall, while mentoring less experienced members in the team as needed.

Your Background:

Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:

• Master's degree in, Computer Science, Robotics or related technical field
• 4+ years of programming experience in C++ with high proficiency
• 2+ years of development and testing of algorithms and code experience (can include industry, academic or internship)
• Strong in control theory & systems design
• Excellent data extraction & analysis skills (MATLAB, Excel)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Superior communication & presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in EEE ,Instrumentation ,ECE Engineering, Computer Science, related technical
• 6+ years of development and testing of algorithms and code experience (can include industry, academic or internship) in C++.
• Background in automotive radar, vision, lidar, sensor fusion
• Background in optimization, path planning and advanced filtering methods
• Background in object detection and tracking algorithm design
• ISO 26262 / Functional Safety functional expertise
