Position Summary:
This role operates within a dynamic manufacturing environment that spans multiple factories across the EMEA region. The position involves extensive collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the consistent development, implementation, and standardization of testing or production systems for wiring harnesses. Frequent travel (up to 60%) is required to support equipment deployment, troubleshoot issues, and liaise directly with local teams and customers. A hands-on approach is crucial, as the role demands practical involvement in the setup, testing, and optimization of automated systems.
The main purpose is to lead the development, standardization, and coordination of ASSEMBLY, VISION, TORQUE, and Electrical test boards used in the production and validation of wiring harnesses. The role ensures all systems meet customer specifications, operate efficiently and safely, and are implemented consistently across factories. By driving innovation and troubleshooting test system issues, the role directly contributes to product quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Your Role:
- Design and standardize assembly systems (VISION, TORQUE, Electrical boards) across multiple factories.
- Interpret customer specifications and ensure compliance through custom test equipment.
- Collaborate on the development of new testing machinery using mechatronics and automation.
- Integrate and troubleshoot I/O board systems and pneumatic components.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation (test plans, procedures, and reports).
- Train local teams on the correct usage, calibration, and maintenance of test systems.
- Ensure all systems comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for factory testing across the EMEA region.
- Continuously improve testing procedures for reliability, repeatability, and ease of use.
Your Profile:
- Masters in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering fields.
- 5+ years in process engineering roles - big plus if automotive and wire harness industry
- Advanced proficiency in: Excel, Reporting & Analysis, Presentation Skills
- Strong project management skills including Risk Analysis, Strategic Communication Strong leadership competencies.

- Customer & Market Focus, Bias for Action, Collaboration
- Fluent in English (Advanced Reading, Writing, Speaking)
