Role Summary as a Cash Management Analyst within Aptiv's Record-to-Report (RTR) team, you will support day-to-day cash operations, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all cash-related transactions. You will play a key role in managing cash flow activities, partnering closely with Treasury, business units, and finance teams to support regional operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary point of contact for business units on cash management activities and act as the liaison with Corporate Treasury.
• Post bank statements, reconcile cash positions, manage cash pool and factoring activities, and clear cash-in-transit accounts.
• Analyze cash transactions and variances, identify risks or inefficiencies, and recommend actionable solutions.
• Support month-end close processes related to cash accounting.
• Assist with internal and external audits by gathering documentation and providing clear explanations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to or lead implementation of automation and efficiency initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and stakeholders across the business.
Qualifications & Experience
• 1-5 years of experience in accounting or general ledger functions.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details
Strong communication skills and proficiency in English (written and
verbal).
• Proactive mindset and willingness to participate in process improvement efforts.
