We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Controls Associate to join our dynamic Finance segment. This position will play a crucial role in executing the Aptiv SOX framework, executing SOX controls, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and corporate policies. The ideal candidate will be someone who promotes teamwork and possesses a solid comprehension of our team's objectives and procedures.
Your role:
• Perform quality checks for in-scope processes at the Collaborative Service Center of GBS within the required timeline.
• Consult identified findings with process owners to clarify the root cause of identified errors.
• Document quality check testing in line with established requirements.

• Report to management on a periodic basis regarding exceptions identified in a review process.
• Coordinate improvement plans with Local Management.
• Follow-up on identified issues in line with the established process to ensure compliance with corporate policies.
Requirements:
• Knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS accounting guidelines (Required)
• Basic understanding of SOX requirements (Required)
• Fluent English (Required)
• Very good analytical and communication skills (Required)
• Knowledge of SAP would be an asset (Preferred)
• Proactive approach to work (Required)
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting and Finance would be considered an asset
