Your Role: Product System Cybersecurity Architect (CySeSysArch)

The Product System Cybersecurity Architect (CySeSysArch) is the cybersecurity technical lead for a product. This role would ideally be filled by an individual from the Systems Team with broad knowledge of cybersecurity, systems, software, and hardware. Tasks can be delegated to other systems engineers that have expertise in specific areas. For large projects, multiple CySeSysArch roles may be defined. For smaller projects, the roles of Product Systems Cybersecurity Manager (CySeMgr) and CySeSysArch may be filled by the same person, including (depending on the organizational structure) the Product Software Cybersecurity Architect (CySeSwArch). The CySeSysArch responsibilities include analyzing cybersecurity threats and mitigations for a product and will be the primary interface to the customer for cybersecurity requirements and support.

• Responsible for requirements analysis (including reviews, requirements control and traceability, change requests, and documentation) for requirements with cybersecurity impacts and the Threat Modeling process (including the Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA).
• Responsible for creating and maintaining the cybersecurity system architecture and Product Development Document.
• Reviews solutions from 3rd party vendors and provides approval.
• Provides cybersecurity technical expertise and oversight in software, hardware, and manufacturing (including the management of cybersecurity keys) development activities throughout the entire product development.
• Guides the Product Software Cybersecurity Architect during Software Architecture Design.
• Guides the Product Hardware Cybersecurity Architect during Hardware Architecture Design.
• Supports and provides input to the Product Systems Cybersecurity Manager in the development of cybersecurity plans (Cybersecurity Concept Document, Cybersecurity Plan, Cybersecurity Assurance Document, SSDP, CRMP, etc.).
• Interfaces with the Systems, Software, IT&V, Manufacturing, and Penetration testing teams for cybersecurity testing and reviews/approves results.

• Automotive Cybersecurity ISO21434 and UNECE R155/R156
• System Software Architecture tools (Polarion, Enterprise Architect)
• Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence)
• CAN/ETH communication protocols and tools experience
• Embedded Microprocessor and Microcontroller experience (ARM Cortex A/R/M, operating systems, Embedded Software)
• Experience in Automtoive Safety
