The technician is part of the MEC team, working in close collaboration with engineers to manage documentation and support technical activities related to machinery. A key responsibility is ensuring that all required documents are created, updated, and published on the POS (Process Operating System) platform. The role also involves supporting equipment release, performing technical tests independently, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts. A proactive, detail-oriented mindset is essential.

To manage the creation, validation, and maintenance of technical documentation for machinery, ensuring timely and compliant publication in the POS platform. The technician supports the equipment release process, performs independent testing when required, and contributes to improving processes and identifying potential problems in early stages. The role is vital to maintaining high-quality standards and meeting both internal and customer requirements.
Your role:
- Reports to: MEC Team Leader [SME]
- Works in collaboration with MEC process engineers or plant process engineers
- Responsible for multiple equipment-related documentation or processes
- Manages documentation uploads and updates in the POS platform
- Supports equipment testing, documentation, and release activities
- Operates within internal quality and external customer requirements
- No direct reports
- Ensure accurate and timely creation, maintenance, and publication of documentation in the POS platform.
- Track document validity and perform updates proactively.
- Participate in equipment release activities, ensuring all related documentation is complete and aligned.
- Review customer technical specifications with engineers to determine documentation requirements.
- Maintain and update key technical documents, including:
- Spare Parts Lists
- Work Procedure Overviews (WPOs)
- Accessory Lists
- Other machinery-related documentation
- Perform equipment or component tests independently, with minimal supervision.
- Propose improvements to documentation practices, tools, and technical processes.
- Identify and communicate potential issues early in the project lifecycle to avoid delays or rework.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements and internal documentation standards.
- Contribute ideas and solutions for improving efficiency, accuracy, and collaboration.
- Support internal audits and documentation reviews with full traceability and consistency.
