Position Summary
As the Lean Manager in APTIV's Connection Systems (CS) segment, you will have a direct responsibility to lead Aptiv Continuous Improvement projects and execute the Lean process deployment to support plant Lean cultural transformation. The OpEx leader defines, designs, and implements process improvement as part of Aptiv Enterprise Operative System (EOS). Identifies mid and long term improvement opportunities aligned with business strategies and priorities. Assures that resources are assigned and trained. Lead, facilitates and coaches improvement teams across the plants. Define the regional mid and long term roadmap to achieve Operations excellences commitments.

Your Role
- Leads plant efforts focused on the continuous improvement of site operating and financial performance.
- Identifies improvement projects and ensures that plant leadership, at all levels, plans and executes continuous improvement activities.
- Follows up improvement actions of each of the plant departments.
- Facilitates and coaches kaizen events with the natural work teams in the plant.
- Train and develop plant leaders in continuous improvement tools and Lean Manufacturing.
- Participates in the operational and financial planning process of your site.
- Provides Performance Monitoring guidelines.
- Identifies improvement opportunities based on plant's KPIs performance and assign resources to make improvements, ensuring the team is properly trained to conduct projects.
- Follow up to assigned projects.
- EOS knowledge.
- Makes sure high impact improvement projects/efforts are tracked through ECIP.
- Lead Lean 2.0 deployment.
- Best practice sharing and implementation.
Your Background
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
- Fluent English
- +5 years of experience in a similar position or related
- Experience working in the automotive industry
