YOUR ROLE
As an Expert Test Development Engineer on our team, you'll design and implement innovative test system solutions for our automotive products. You'll focus on creating systems that simulate the vehicle environment and automate validation tests.
In your daily job you will:
- Develop software tools, frameworks, and test scripts using the latest validation software stack
- Develop vehicle environment simulations for multiple product lines, including radars, cameras and active safety, body or zone controllers.
- Design, integrate, and automate validation test setups based on product requirements.
- Review and analyze test plans and test requirements.
- Analyze new technologies and propose, develop, and evaluate improvements to current test setups, systems, and software methodologies.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure rapid problem resolution
- Work in cross functional team environment

YOUR BACKGROUND
Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:
- Msc degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Control, Automation and Robotics or similar
- Programming experience in C++ / C# / Python or any other modern programming language
- Understanding of electrical measurements
- Experience with parallel programming and the application of best practices
- Experience with communication buses like ETH / CAN / LIN
- Experience with version control and issue tracking on large collaborative projects (Plastic, Git, Jira, Jenkins or similar)
- Fluent use of spoken and written English
Nice to have:
- National Instruments TestStand and LabVIEW experience
- Knowledge of car diagnostic protocols like UDS or XCP
- Object oriented design patterns knowledge
- A technology enthusiast and critical thinker with a knack for problem-solving
- Curiously investigate everything - ability to solving problems analytically, creatively and collaboratively
