As a Data Labeling Intern in our team, you'll be responsible for leading and managing daily operations of a data annotation lab focused on autonomous vehicle projects. The role involves coordinating annotation of workflows, ensuring quality standards, and serving as a bridge between technical teams and annotation specialists.
YOUR ROLE
In your daily job you will:
- Coordinate data annotation teams working on 2D/3D image and video labeling for autonomous vehicle applications
- Manage project timelines and resource allocation to meet client deliverables
- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes for annotation accuracy
- Train and onboard new team members on annotation tools and procedures
- Optimize annotation workflows to improve efficiency and output quality
- Liaise with clients and internal technical teams to clarify requirements and provide progress updates
- Evaluate and provide feedback on annotation tools and methodologies
- Oversee quality control processes for labeled datasets

YOUR BACKGROUND
Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:
- Experience with 2D/3D data labeling, particularly for automotive or machine learning applications
- Knowledge of LiDAR point cloud annotation and validation techniques
- Proficiency in data annotation quality assurance methodologies
- Strong project coordination and team management abilities
- Background in computer science, engineering, or related technical field
- Experience with Python and data processing libraries (Pandas, NumPy)
- Familiarity with version control systems and basic scripting for annotation automation
- Understanding of machine learning workflows and data requirements
