CQE (Customer Quality engineer)

Your role:

Support Resolution of Product Quality / Process / Diagnostic Problems:

  • On-Site Presence to Assist Customers With Product Quality Problems
  • Provide Accurate and Timely Information on Quality Issues to Aptiv Plant
  • Issue Customer Problem / Customer Incident / IRIS / Activity Reports
  • Share Corrective Action With the Customer
  • Analyze Performance Data and Review With the Customer
  • Expedite Return Material Process as Required
  • Maintain Communication Between Customer and APTIV Plant Until Issue Resolved
  • Coordinate Sorting and Containment Activities
  • Conduct First-Level Investigation on Customer Rejected Product Including Packaging / Handling
  • Support Customer Product and Process Changes on APTIV Products
  • If Defects Are "Customer Liability" or "Not Verified" Assist Customer / Aptiv Towards Resolution

Monitor Quality Process:

  • Review Packaging, Handling and Installation of Aptiv Material at Customer Site
  • Participate in Component Assembly Process (CAP) Manual Reviews
  • Assist in Planning and Supporting ‘Start-Up' Activities
  • Support Aptiv Product and Process Changes at Customer Premises
  • Complete Customer / Aptiv Audits
  • Assist in Developing Customer Training Requirements
  • Be Informed on Product Warranty Issues
  • Maintain Good Working Relationship With the Customer
  • Visit Aptiv Manufacturing Plants
  • Responsible for Maintenance, Calibration and Up-Dating of Aptiv Equipment Used by CSE's
  • Participate in Customer Improvement Efforts Associated With Aptiv Products
  • Understand Customer's Supplier Quality Requirements
  • Have Basic Understanding of Customer's Culture
  • Support Aptiv Team

Your background:

  • Experience in production and / or quality of at least 2 years in automotive field.
  • Very good relationship for teamwork.
  • Good capacity for analytical and problem solving.
  • Fluency in written and spoken (English, French).
  • Rigor and precision during the work.
