Category Leader - Machinery & Equipment

Your role:

• Develop and drive effective Machinery and Equipment procurement that is reflective of organizational goals.
• Build trust with and manage stakeholders, work with cross functional organization in the delivery of strategic M&E sourcing.
• Monitor the supply markets and adapt the sourcing strategy.
• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to advance value add of Indirect sourcing organization.
• Monitor and manage budgets to achieve cost savings and operational efficiency.
• Negotiate complex commercial agreements while ensure compliance to corporate governance requirements.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with supplier performance ensuring adherence to business activities and timelines.

Your Background:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent (Masters preferred) with 5+ years' experience in a similar role.
• In-depth, demonstrable, knowledge of Machinery markets, preferably working within procurement for the manufacturing sector across an extended global footprint.
