Capacity & Capital Investment influence, forecasting & controls

  • Support for all new projects in AMSEA, partner with BU finance in development of financial forecast
  • Review and assess actualization of forecast with BU
  • Partner with BU on the detailed financial data preparation for grant application, ability to articulate the detailed investment plans

AMSEA Government Incentive Management System

  • Perform quarterly review on status of project milestone commitment and assess/report on foreseeable risks on commitments
  • Develop appropriate claim forecast, taking into consideration of BU operation plan and Commit
  • Assess claim status against application and mitigation plans to maximize claim amount
  • Prepare and consolidate claim items and computation of claim accrual
  • Lead and prepare for external audits for claim to Singapore Government Authorities
  • Lead and support ad hoc Singapore Government Authorities site visit requests, including data preparation and document sighting
  • Lead and prepare for Singapore Government Authorities audit requests, including data preparation and document sighting
  • Lead annual reporting form submission to Singapore Government Authorities
  • Lead incentive progress conditions preparation and review for submission
  • Prepare quarterly update to HQ

  • Experience in evaluating partnerships and deals with government agencies and ecosystem
  • Proven competencies in communication, financial analysis and working across functions with different levels of management to drive results
  • Eager to learn and understand the incentives to apply and establish standardized financial processes
  • Influencing - ability to impact decision within own organization, cross functionally and within different level of management by leveraging experience and competencies in financial analysis
  • Self-starter: able to maintain financial cycle deliverables, identify change and drive items to closure with limited management oversight
  • Curiosity to understand the drivers of top and bottom-line growth
  • High learning agility - quickly understand the value drivers in numerous science and technology fields
  • Integrated Enterprise Mindset - altruistic, strong sense of ownership and ability to work across different functions and BU
  • Strong analytical skills and effective problem solver - ability to navigate ambiguity and a highly matrix organization
  • Strategic communicator - excellent communication skills, ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and experience in developing presentations at the executive staff level

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (finance/Accounting) or Masters degree (MBA); CPA is a plus with 3 - 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Very strong Excel skills, including modeling
  • Strong systems capabilities, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage with partners to understand key issues, develop recommendations and implement actions to improve the business result
  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Data analysis tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus
