Security Program Manager

The Applied Materials Global Security Organization (GSO) is hiring a Security Program Manager to work within the Asset Protection Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee security and security technology related projects to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Build long-term strategies and tracks budgets for current and future budget development.
  • Coordinates with internal and external departments and stakeholders to maintain trust, efficiency, and on time project delivery.
  • Ability to collaborate and build trusting relationships with other management groups (Individual BU's, IT, HR, Finance, Legal).
  • Must have 100% credibility, objectivity and respect across all parts of the business.
  • Strategic oversight of multiple projects globally. Tracks progress and manage risks in security related projects. Track milestones and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery of projects.
  • Facilitate meetings to align and ensure timely completion of projects and program deliverables.
  • Create policies/processes out of working documents, customer requirements and new working conditions.
  • Maintains stakeholder relationships and documentation of projects to ensure, once completed, a set of documents can be turned over for the proper closure of the project and tracking equipment locations and warranty/end of life replacement.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert in program management and security best practices.
  • Ensure program compliance within Applied Materials policies and customer requirements.
  • Produce reports based on audits, site walks, that detail current conditions, improvements, and ability to present these reports at a leadership/executive level.
  • Demonstrates sound judgment and effective time management.

Requirements:

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree; Master's degree preferred; a combination of work experience and education my be accepted.
  • 5-10+ years of relevant experience in physical security and/or physical security technology and systems, especially in technical or manufacturing environments.
  • Industry certifications such as ASIS CPP and/or PSP a bonus.
  • Physical security program management experience. Knowledge of security systems operations.
  • Experience in budgeting, scheduling, project/program methodologies, strong communication across business units and cross-functional leadership.
  • Intellectual Property Protection experience.
  • Supply Chain Security experience.
  • Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills. Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
  • Understands and works in the Microsoft suite of products and Smartsheet.

Skills:

  • Strong working knowledge around access control and video surveillance.
  • Service-oriented/customer-driven approach.
  • Excellent organizational, communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
  • Willing to travel when necessary.

U.S. Salary Range:
$140,000.00 - $192,500.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
