Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain packaging designs for PDC product assemblies and parts
- Collaborate with product teams to define packaging design requirements
- Identify and pursue cost‑saving initiatives (design, materials, processes, sourcing) under engineering control
- Engage with suppliers including designing packaging, setting up packaging and labeling processes, obtaining quotes and creating scorecards
- Create and/or review packaging designs in CAD environment
- Perform root-cause analysis on simple packaging failures and recommend corrective actions
- Coordinate with the packaging test lab to get the packaging designs/ configurations tested
- Lead packaging SharePoint projects to meet schedules and deliverables
- Communicate the packaging project status, needs and issues to the cross-functional stakeholders
- Release specifications via Engineering Change Order (ECO) process
- Perform other duties/projects as assigned, based on departmental and BU specific goals
Experience - 4 to 7 Years
