We are seeking a skilled talent with achievement mentality to fill the role of a NPI Material Cost Performance Lead (B3) (MCOS Focal) for our CMP NPI Material Program Management team. The ideal candidate will possess an educational background in engineering as well as business, coupled with a proven track record in program management and supply chain proficiency preferably within the semiconductor industry.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Knowledge
- Material Cost Performance: Experienced in managing complex material cost reduction projects, should costing, benchmarking, and BoM execution.
- Program Management: Experienced in program management, especially in NPI, supply chain consulting/management, and business acumen.
- Fabrication/Manufacturing: Knowledgeable in various fabrication commodities and processes. Experience in plastics commodity is preferred.
- Negotiation: Skilled in supplier negotiation preparation, strategies, and execution.
- Cost Model: Good understanding of supplier cost model drivers (COGS/ TCOS/ GM)
- Effective Communication: Able to communicate key messages concisely and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- MS Excel and PowerPoint: Advanced and efficient usage.

MCOS Performance
- MCOS Projects: Lead and manage all CMP BU Material Cost technical and commercial cost reduction (MCOS) projects to meet corporate YoY savings targets
- Cross-functional team lead: Drives multiple complex cross-functional MCOS focused project teams to support YoY MCOS target achievement
- Executive reporting: Analyzes, consolidates and frequently reports CMP BU MCOS status/ progress in BU as well as corporate executive reviews
- Best practice methods/ processes: Regularly aligns/ calibrates MCOS reporting methods and standards on corporate and deploys within CMP BU
- Leverage corporate synergies: Frequently aligns with other BU peers on MCOS project synergies and best practice to optimize MCOS performance on corporate level
Program Management
- NPI Development: Manage end-to-end semiconductor equipment NPI programs from a supply chain perspective.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams and external partners for timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality control.
- Risk Management: Identify and resolve potential risks early, providing solutions to executive stakeholders.
Supply Chain Expertise
- Product Sourcing Strategy: Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies from NPI to high volume.
- Supplier Collaboration: Negotiate with key suppliers for reliable and cost-effective material supply, and feedback DfX proposals to engineering.
- Best Practice/CIP: Establish and manage best practice policies for material handling, supporting lean manufacturing and logistics.
Contract Manufacturing/ Automation/ Liquid & Chem Delivery
- Machining/Manufacturing: Proficient in diverse fabrication commodities, contributing to metrology, planarization, polishing and overall wafer processing.
- Make vs. Buy: Align and execute Make vs. Buy strategies with stakeholders.
- Innovation: Collaborate to implement innovative materials and assess advancements in fabrication technologies.
Business Expertise
- Industry Awareness: Drive financial and operational performance with broad industry and commercial awareness.
- Best Practices: Recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
Interpersonal Skills
- Achievement Mentality: Execute strategies and goals efficiently.

Qualifications
- Education: Combination of business and engineering degree is a plus; MS/ MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Program management, fabrication and Supply Chain consulting or management preferably in a semiconductor environment.

U.S. Salary Range:
$101,000.00 - $139,000.00
The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
