About Our Group:

This Team working will be working on developing Optical Inspection and Metrology systems. Overall Team comprises of mechanical, electrical, electronics and software functions and also, we have a proto-lab for concept and feasibility approach. Work with global team in Santa Clara, Israel, Taiwan and world-wide field customers. Team was formed last 5+ years, and Total India team size is 25+. Team has many accolades and won many teams of the quarter awards. Motto of team is: 'Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.'

Key Responsibilities:

Seasoned Mechanical Engineer who is aware of general system design, Precision engineering, optical systems- design methodology, engineering, safety, and qualification and System Engineering mindset)

  • Design mechanical components, including structural elements, pneumatic systems, vacuum systems, manual and motorized mechanisms, filtration systems, and cooling systems for clean room environments.
  • Conduct CAE simulations and analyses for design validation and troubleshooting.
  • Create detailed drawings, define fabrication processes, materials, and finish standards with comprehensive GD&T, and perform complex tolerance analyses.
  • Plan and execute experiments to validate designs.
  • Lead the mechanical aspects of the development process, present design reviews, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project management, product manufacturing, field support, and suppliers.

Qualifications:

  • B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering 8-12 years of experience.
  • Job requires knowledge of system engineering, Optical and metrology systems, motion mechanics, high precision motion stages, and stage subsystems (chuck, substrates/wafer handling, interferometry, metrology, ...)
  • Structural FEA as a must. Flow and thermal good to have.
  • Proficient in first order mechanical engineering calculations for high predictability of design performance.
  • Mechanical engineering experience in component selection, building, testing, troubleshooting, and releasing semiconductor or other similar scale capital equipment.
  • Knowledge in SEMI S2/S8/S14, NFPA 79, F47, CE, EMI/EMC safety standards
  • In-depth knowledge of 3D CAD design tools (i.e., Inventor) and 2D CAD drawing tools not limited to Nx, Inventor, AutoCAD, etc.
  • Familiar with machined parts fabrication and designing for cost effective solutions.
  • Working knowledge of materials & components used in semiconductor wafer manufacturing equipment, materials characterization methods, and failure analysis of materials/system.
  • Experience with supporting manufacturing and service organizations through training, documentation (procedures, OMS, BKMs, etc.), and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in data analysis software like Excel, or equivalent Strong time management skills with an emphasis on managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communications skills, organizational skills and sense of collaboration.
  • Drive and desire to thrive in a start-up like environment.
