Job Mission

We are looking to hire a highly motivated, hands-on technical lithography process engineer to support our cutting-edge AR/VR devices. This position will be in our advanced lithography group located in Sunnyvale, California.

Key Responsibilities

• Be flexible and willing to learn conventional and new lithography technologies with different type of substrates. The lithography tool can be DUV, h-line or i-line. Support lithography and be able to write recipes and run wafers independently. Prepare and deliver papers and presentations regarding new technologies, share and promote new ideas and capabilities.

• Problem identification and troubleshooting a wide range of significantly complex problems. Defines experiments and determines the type of meaningful data required to support evaluation and technical decision. Oversees and approves research and analysis results. Support lithography related metrology such as CD-SEM/Filmmetrics/Inspection/Defect Review/Camtek etc. and be able to create recipes and run wafers independently.

• Trouble shooting the process and yield failures for lithography process related , monitor the tool status , collaborate with HW team for solutions to improve the yield loss especially cosmetic related

• Supports high level / complex physics and chemistry related application and system issues in the lab and in the field when required. Regularly interacts with senior managers on matters involving several functional areas, departments or customers concerning projects, operations and schedules. Interactions require the ability to change thinking or gain the acceptance of others in sensitive situations.

• Takes an active part in product risk management discussions leveraging his / her expertise and knowledge to influence and drive risk management decisions.

• Plan and execute complex feasibility studies of new technologies and lead the decision-making process.

• Reviews and approves system and sub-system requirements and specifications designed by other team members. Apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts, Contributes to the development of new principles and concepts.

Functional Knowledge

Regarded as the technical expert in the particular field

Demonstrates in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in own discipline and broad knowledge of other disciplines within the function

Hands on experience in photolithography and etch will be a strong plus

Hands on experience on metrology tool like CD-SEM, Insepection , Defect Review,Camtek will be plus

Experience in design/fabrication of diffractive optic structure

Other Requirements: This is a physically demanding position that often requires the ability to distinguish between colors, the ability to work in an environment with noise that may be difficult for some individuals with sensitivity to noise, and the use of hand and power tools.

Additionally, because this position generally involves working in a clean room, it requires the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment such as coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields.

Qualifications

Education:

Master's/ Doctorate Degree in Materials Science and Engineering or equivalent, Electric/Photonic Engineering or equivalent.

Years of Experience:

6+ Years Experience

Work Experience:

• 6+ years of hands on experience in semiconductor industry

• Lithography process

• Film and metrology like CD-SEM tools

• Failure analysis ability with DR SEM, Inspection tool, Camtek, AFM, etc., will be a plus

• Layout design with Python, MatLab or equivalent, will be a plus

U.S. Salary Range:
$147,000.00 - $202,500.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
