Finance Specialist (m/f/d) - semiconductor industry

Our subsidiary, Integrated Circuit Testing GmbH (ICT GmbH), with ~170 employees, develops and produces electron microscopes, the heart of our machines, which monitor processes in semiconductor production and classify the smallest defects on wafers. To meet the rapidly increasing demand from our customers in the semiconductor industry, our location near Munich, Germany is constantly growing.

With a strong intension to strengthen our team, we are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Specialist (m/f/d) to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in financial planning, CAPEX-investment analysis, and strategic decision support. This role demands strong financial modeling skills, business acumen, and the ability to work cross-functionally with teams across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning & Budgeting:

  • Support annual budgeting, long-term forecasting, and strategic business planning processes
  • Prepare materials for executive leadership

Financial Analysis & Modeling:

  • Analyze business performance and provide insights on financial trends and KPIs
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify key drivers of financial performance
  • Conduct scenario analysis and modeling (e.g. headcount, spending)
  • Highlight risks and opportunities and provide recommendations for management decision-making

CAPEX-investment Support :

  • Evaluate CAPEX investments and assist in business case development
  • Conduct capital reviews, and perform post-mortem analyses

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree inFinance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master's or MBA preferred)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or financial consulting
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling. Experience with ERP and BI tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Power BI) is a plus
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation techniques, and corporate finance principles
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or CMA
  • Familiarity with IFRS or US GAAP
