Data Analyst/Scientist/Visualization
In the framework of our Smart Factory initiative, we are looking for a data scientist that will help us better utilize the information hidden in vast amounts of data, help us make faster and smarter decisions to deliver even better value to our business operations. Primary focus will be in applying data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis, and building high quality prediction systems integrated with our systems (AI and ML). The role will be about understanding the business constraints, applying those to the raw data coming from our SAP and other systems (Production Control tools, MES), creating alerts and predictive analysis, and finally creating the right visualization and dashboards for the various user communities.
Responsibilities
- Understanding data sources, data bases, tables, fields
- Performing data mining
- Querying data bases and extracting source data
- Connecting various and distinct data sources as needed
- Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems
- Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity and accuracy of data used for analysis
- Doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner
- Creating automated anomaly detection systems and constant tracking of its performance
- Creating front end visualization
- Creating dashboards
- Selecting features, building and optimizing prediction models using machine learning techniques

Skills and Qualifications
- Good communication skills
- Minimum 3 years' experience in similar roles
- Proven analytics experience within a Manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL
- Practical experience with data lake like Hadoop
- Experience with data visualization tools and dashboards, such as Tableau, etc.
- Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.
- Practical experience in deploying AI and/or ML models, and excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithm
- Data-oriented personality
