Key Responsibilities
- Devise precursor, formulation and deposition strategies and associated intellectual property. Design chemical processes to find new innovative ways to create, remove or clean thin films, with focus on electroplating films for semiconductor applications
- Conduct concept and feasibility R&D of electroplating processes, including chemical formulations, process flow, process parameters, and characterizations
- Prepare the project plan for semiconductor films growth and execute project deliverables from planning to implementation. Be responsible for project milestones and deliverables within project requirement.
- Engage with business unit teams and clients to optimize & scale up electroplating process. Own the technical development aspects in the pursuit of the project goals.
- Trouble shoot for root causes to project developments obstacles and engage business unit and broader team members implementing proposed solutions to the problems.
- Prioritize the activities to achieve on-time and within budget performance objectives for the project.

Functional Knowledge
- Have good fundamental know-how and working experience in electrochemistry, able to apply electrochemical principles & concepts to understand and predict reaction outcomes.
- Experience in electroplating processes and familiar with electrochemical cells, electrodes and other equipment to perform experiments and analysis results is highly preferred
- Have working experience in thin film growth and material characterizations
- Have good knowledge of chemistry and chemical reactions in solution and at interfaces
- Have good understanding of how electrochemistry is used semiconductor application
