Description
APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Perform RF hardware validation using RF Lab equipment: Spectrum analyzer, Network Analyzer, and Power Meters. Characterize Radio Frequency (RF) Receiver (Rx) and Transmitter (Tx) chains and characteristics such as Noise Figure (NF), IIP3, Transmit Power, and Gain. Build and execute detailed test plan to ensure the product in compliance to worldwide Regulatory requirements. Define RF HW test requirements, design and implement in-house test systems, debug and resolve issues, and manage the process to ensure Apple products conform to all applicable standards. Optimize RF parametric performance by working along vendors, technology suppliers and cross-functional staff. Resolve 3GPP, Regulatory compliance issues by making recommendations to cross functional teams (including but not limited to RF/Antenna systems). Analyze RF component behavior in Cellular technologies. Support and assist the manufacturing, manufacturing test and Certification of Apple products. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 - $264,200/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field and two years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:
- Define RF HW requirements
- Design and Implement in Test Systems
- Debug and resolve issues
- RF lab tests equipment
- Support and assist manufacturing test
